CHRISTIAN COUNSELING

Although misused and misapplied religion has been a source of pain for so many, others find it impossible to find true hope and healing apart from their strongly held Christian beliefs and convictions. With so many distractions these days, it can be hard to find a therapist who you can trust to align with your Christian worldview. Many seek Christian Counseling for encouragement, accountability, comfort, exhortation, correction, fellowship, and brotherly love. Understanding Christian themes of fallen human nature, pain and suffering, hope and redemption can be vital to growth as we consider how Christian life overlaps with real struggles of depression, anxiety, interpersonal issues, trauma, and other forms of suffering.

It would be my honor to walk alongside you in considering how different thoughts, attitudes, and belief systems contribute to experiences of depression and anxiety, and impact how we go about solving problems, making decisions, and working towards real change. The ultimate goal of this is to rework thought patterns and lifestyle habits/patterns to be more aligned with the Truth of our Christian convictions.

All mental work tends to weary and depress, for much study is a weariness of the flesh; but ours is more than mental work — it is heart work, the labor of our inmost soul.
— Charles H. Spurgeon
